Wentworth Room

The Wentworth Room has been fully refurbished in elegant colors of rich blues enhanced by prints and old painted boards of exotic birds. With its handsome Chinese desk in dark reds and gold, the off-white bed and tapestry window valances, you will find a very comfortable and elegant space. This room is perfect for a big family: it can be turned into a two bedroom, two bathroom suite with the adjoining Adams Junior Suite. Named for Sir John Wentworth, born in Portsmouth and a classmates of John Adams at Harvard, he was the last colonial governor of New Hampshire.
